Campgrounds near St. George, inside a private canyon
Camping near St. George usually means open desert. This is the other kind: 30 campsites along the Santa Clara River, 25 minutes north of town up SR-18, under cottonwoods in a canyon that runs 12–15° cooler than St. George all summer. Tents camp in the canyon, RVs and trailers park in the gravel lot at the top, and the historic farmhouse sleeps ten. Every overnight stay includes the spring-fed pool, the climbing park and the creek. Read the campground rules before you come, and see what else there is to do around St. George.

Farmhouse
Our historic farmhouse sits at the top of the canyon, with everything you need to cook — pots, pans, knives and utensils included.

Picnic Sites
Park a car in the canyon when you reserve a day-use picnic site (11am–4pm). Canyon Access passes sold separately.

RV Sites
RVs and trailers don't fit down the canyon, so our RV parking area is at the top of the canyon: a large open gravel lot, not down in the canyon. No hookups. No pets. No fires: Veyo is under a Red Flag Warning.

Decks & Patios
Reserve a wood deck or pool-side patio for your party, reunion, or after-hours event. Choose a time slot (10–1 or 1:30–4:30).

Your site fee reserves the spot. Swimming and the rest of the canyon run on the Canyon Access Pass — a Canyon Access Pass a person, and you can pay at the gate when you arrive or add passes to your booking now.
Tents only in the canyon. RVs and trailers don’t fit down the canyon, so they park in the gravel RV lot at the top. No pets in the canyon or the RV lot, except ADA service animals. Everyone 18+ signs a waiver at the gate. No fires anywhere: Veyo is under a Red Flag Warning.
